G3
G3
The G3a was the final Pearce guitar amp. A third channel was added, voiced for amplified acoustic guitar. I’ve heard that fewer than 50 were produced. Changes from the G2 include:
•New script logo
•Three channels
•Midrange control now on one cocentric knob for frequency and cut/boost
•Tube distortion circuit on Channel 1
•Headphone out and level control on front panel
•Two-way speaker (full frequency response for acoustic channel)
•MIDI control for channel selection, boost/crunch, limiter and input
•Stereo aux-in for keyboard/CD input
•1U space provided for third party multi-effector
•No on-board reverb
•Four effects loops
After Pearce Amps folds, Dan Pearce apparently takes the design to ART, who offer it as their ADP150 combo
