The BC1 was Pearce’s bass equivalent of the G1c, optimized for bass use.  Like the G1c it had two independent, mixable channels, mutiple effect loops and a variety of boost/pad/EQ options.  Billy Sheehan (Talas, David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, Steve Vai) is closely associated with the BC1. 


The name always puzzled me--if it followed the guitar model convention, it seemed it should have been the B1c.  Later there was a powered bass amp, the B2p, but never a B2c (near as I can figure).
